Paco Cox was born and lived in the greater Kansas City area. He attended Somerset Elementary School and Shawnee Mission East High School. He died on Monday, January 9 after a brief illness at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City.
His sense of humor always kept everyone laughing, especially his mother. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and spent many happy hours hunting and fishing with his father. Paco also enjoyed tailgating and cheering on the K.C Chiefs with family and friends. He loved his family, respected his friends and worked to live a life of integrity.
He leaves parents, Patricia Cox and Walter "Bud" Cox (Anne); siblings: James Cox (Shari), Kathleen Cox, Koren Knubley (David); nieces and nephews: Brandon and Alex Cox, Emily, Scott and Henry Knubley; great nephew and great niece: Cassius and Brienna; and his companion, Lynne Vahle.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 13th at 9 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road in Prairie Village, Kansas. It will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
