Paul Frederick Wirtz

Paul Wirtz, 48, of Kansas City Missouri died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of December 20, 2014. A funeral Mass will be held to celebrate Paul?s life at 10am on January 3, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 52nd and Troost, Kansas City, MO. There will be a private burial after the Mass.

Paul was born the son of John and Kathleen Wirtz on November 18, 1966. He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School, O?Hara High School, and Penn Valley Community College where he earned his Associates Degree and his EMT certification. He loved his family, friends, and especially his 11 nieces and 10 nephews. We all loved him as our gentle and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Paul was a special guy that would give anyone the shirt off his back. He brought laughter to many people by his funny takes on life and his thoughtful phone calls. We take comfort in God?s plan that "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, what God has ready for those who love Him."

Paul was preceded in death by his infant sister, Margaret Mary. He is survived by his parents, his six siblings: Mary (Dave) Koncak; Lisa (Bill) Sullivan; Mark (Katy) Wirtz; Sharon (Steve) Mohler; Bill (Sally) Wirtz; and Tom (Cindy) Wirtz; and, his nieces and nephews.
