Paul William Muehlebach

Paul William Muehlebach passed away October 30, 2023, as a result of a hemorrhagic stroke. Paul was born September 6, 1960 In Kansas City, Missouri. He attended St. Thomas More Grade School, Rockhurst High School, Creighton University and graduated from Rockhurst University. While living in Arizona, Paul met and married Sandra Matusiak. They had two daughters, Madison (fiancée Zach Webb) and Chloe, whom Paul adored. Their family eventually relocated back to Kansas City.

Paul was a gifted athlete and participated in any sport available with baseball and football being his favorites. He was also a coach where he inspired many young athletes. Even though he often competed at high levels, he would probably say his favorite team was The Drones, an adult softball team that was comprised of his Dad with his friends, and a few young, ringer, sons. In addition to sports, Paul loved telling you a good story. One might say he had the gift of gab. This was certainly one of the reasons why Paul was so successful in his various sales positions.

Paul was lucky to have strong, loyal friends throughout his life. He was also blessed with loving parents, George and Marcella Muehlebach and seven siblings; Lisa and Steve Dunleavy, Greg and Vicki, Kurt and Julie, Matt and Amy, Ann and Frank Crist, Barbara and John Cusick and Kristen and Jon Shaffer. He also had 19 nieces and nephews, all of who loved him dearly.

At the end of his life Paul gave the ultimate gift as an organ donor. This was a beautiful act on not only Paul’s part, but his wife and daughter’s as well.

The Rosary will be prayed at 9:45 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 on Monday, November 20, 2023. A visitation will immediately follow at 10:00 am with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
