Margaret "Peggy" Ann Foley Allin 85, of Kansas City Missouri passed away Friday August 16, 2019. A celebration of Peggys life will take place at St Peters Catholic Church, 701 East Meyer Boulevard Kansas City Missouri 64131, on Monday August 26th, Visitation at 10 am followed by 11am funeral mass.
Peggy was born Nov 27th, 1933 to Ross and Katherine (Shannon) Foley.
Peggy married John "Jack" Allin and they welcomed a son Paul J Allin to complete their family and settled into the Brookside area where they remained her entire life.
A lifelong parishioner in St Peters Parish Peggy was very active in many parish and charitable activities including Daughters of Isabel, Ladies of Charity, and St James Soup Kitchen.
As an avid sports enthusiast, when not rooting for her Chiefs or Royals, Peggy wouldnt hesitate to graciously take your money at the table over a game of Tripoli or Dominoes.
A seat at her annual St Patricks Day Party was as coveted as a curb side spot for the Brookside parade.
Peggy was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, niece, cousin and friend to anyone blessed to have been touched by her engaging wit, unflappable optimism and kind soul.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Brian Foley, and husband Jack Allin. She is survived by her son, Paul J Allin, aunt, Joann Shannon, granddaughter, Shannon Allin Barnett (Chris), grandson, Nicholas Grady Allin, brother, Daniel Foley (Imelda) sisters, Mary Kaye Harter and Eileen Foley Stamp (Wesley), 7 nephews, 3 nieces and a circle of friends and extended family beyond measure.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kansas City Hospice for their compassionate care and comfort to Peggy and her family.
