Raymond Simon Mponji

Raymond Simon Mponji, a quality, polite Gentleman, passed away on January 7th,2023 in Kansas City Missouri.

Raymond was born in Tanzania on 19th November 1975, He was the only son of Mr. Simon Mponji and Bertha Mponji.

He attended Primary School in Ndola Modern High School in Zambia. He acquired his Secondary and high School education in Dar es Salaam at Mzizima Secondary School and JKT Secondary school respectively. He later enrolled at Waldorf Business College in Dar es Salaam.

In pursue of further education, Raymond moved to the United States of America in 1999. In the USA he attended several courses in nursing and other relating skills such as Medical Technician. Raymond worked as Medical Technician.

He enjoyed reading books, novels, watching movies and travelling. He often spent time in libraries reading and seeking knowledges. He also worked extra hours at his jobs as needed.

Raymond will be missed by his parents Simon Mponji and Bertha Mponji; sisters Gillian, Dorothy, Esther and Bertha (Chile) Nieces and Nephews Sherina, Aisha, Amir, Rodney, Simon and Liam.

Service for his farewell will be at 15:00 hrs Saturday February 4th, 2023, followed by viewing soon after at 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City MO 64131, Muehlebach Funeral Care Chapel.

Raymond's body will be transported to Tanzania for his final place of rest.

The family would like to thank all friends and staff of Muehlebach Funeral Care, Medical Investigation Unit of Jackson County for all of their support, time and efforts.
