Regina A. Wilcox

March 11, 1946 — November 6, 2015

Regina A. Wilcox, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away November 6, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am Thursday, November 12 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64131. Inurnment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church.
Regina was born March 11, 1946, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jane (Dennis) Redd, in St. Louis, MO. She is a graduate of Visitation Academy of St. Louis and attended Northwest Missouri State University.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Jim Redd (Joanne), her husband, John Wilcox Sr. and their six children: John (Melissa) Wilcox Jr., Betsy (Dean) Zoellner, James (Mary) Wilcox, Carrie (Cameron) Horton, Julie (fianc Joe) Wilcox and Cathy (Brent) Chapman. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Regina was kind and selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own. She loved nothing more than spending time with her kids and grandkids, especially during the holidays. From baking the most delicious pies to sewing bibs for each new grandchilds special holiday, she wanted her family to know how much she loved them. She will be greatly missed, but the stories and memories we have of Reggie will be shared for years to come.
