Rosaleen Mckenna Vogt

Rosaleen McKenna Vogt, 97, of Fairway, Kansas died on March 15, 2016. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20th from 3-4:30pm, with Rosary at 3:00pm, at Muehlebach Chapel, 6800 Troost Ave, KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am on Monday, March 21st at St. Agnes Parish, 5250 Mission Rd., Roeland Park, KS. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.Rosaleen McKenna was the youngest child of a large Irish Catholic Family. Though she lost her mother when she was very young, she grew up surrounded by the love and support of her charming Irish father, Peter Joseph McKenna, five brothers (Benny, Harry, Louie, Johnny and Eddie), and her sister Catherine. All preceded her in death.Rosaleen was married to Alfred E. Vogt for 64 years, until Al's death in 2008. She is survived by her five children: Rose Ann, Edward, James, William and Elizabeth, and one granddaughter, Lindsey. Donations are suggested to the scholarship established by Alfred E. and Rosaleen Vogt in memory of a childhood friend: the "Chester Bowles Endowment Scholarship" of William Jewell College, Liberty, MO.
