Rosie B. Tezon

Rosie B. Tezon, 90, passed away on her birthday anniversary on Monday, July 17, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She had been a resident of Carondelet Manor (now Ignite Medical Resort) since 2015.

Rosie was an employee of KU Medical Center for several years in the housekeeping department. She had two biological children that she gave up for adoption but established contact with late in life.

She married John C. Tezon in Kansas City. He died in December of 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy, and several siblings, with one surviving sister, Patricia. She was also preceded in death by stepsons Marshall and John Tezon. Rosie is survived by stepdaughters RoseMary Russell and Sylvia Tezon and a stepdaughter-in-law, Anne Spry, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114, followed by the burial in Calvary Cemetery.
