Ryan Patrick Comiskey

Ryan Patrick Comiskey, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2024.  Ryan was born on June 29, 1990, to Thomas and Joanne Comiskey.  He attended Visitation Catholic Grade School in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was a 2009 graduate of Rockhurst High School and went on to graduate from the Kansas City Art Institute.  

The youngest of three siblings, Ryan was intelligent and had a wonderful smile.  He enjoyed spending holidays and game nights with his family, sharing both laughter and time.  Known for giving the best and most generous gifts, Ryan was always thoughtful and caring.  He was especially fond of his precious feline friends, Klaus and Spoof, whom he cared for with much love.  Art was one of Ryan’s passions and he could often be found with a pencil and sketch pad in hand.  

Ryan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William and Marjorie Comiskey; maternal grandparents, Norbert and Rita Teson; uncle, Stephen Teson; and cousin, Matthew Kenney.  He is survived by his parents, Joanne and Tom Comiskey; siblings, Sean Comiskey and Anna Comiskey; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him greatly.

The family will be holding private services to honor Ryan.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rockhurst High School Hurtado Scholars Program or Visitation Parish.
