Sally A. Madson

Sally Ann (Biersmith) Madson died Feb. 1, 2015 at K.C. Hospice. Visitation will be 10-11:00am, Wednesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Sally was born in Detroit, MI on April 2, 1927 and grew up in Kansas City. She attended Redemptorist Grade and High Schools. Her education served her well in life, career and friendships. She was proud of her German and Irish heritage, and was able to travel to both countries. She worked until she was 80, and then volunteered at St. Joseph Med. Center and Shepherd?s Center.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Kathryn Biersmith, her son Mayne M. "Marty" Madson; her brothers Martin C. "Bill" Biersmith, George Biersmith and Kevin Biersmith. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Huber, her favorite son-in-law, Joe Huber; grandchildren, Andy Huber (Katie), Maggie Huber; her great granddaughter, Mary Frances Huber; her sister-in-law, Nanette Biersmith and her 8 wonderful nieces, nephews and their families.
