Samuel R. "Sam" Santee, III, 71, passed away unexpectedly, November 16, 2014. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, November 19th at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, 4101 E. 105th Terr., Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Thursday at the Church. Interment will be at Centerville Cemetery in Ft. Scott, KS

Sam was born May 19, 1943 in Fort Scott, KS to Samuel R., II and Evelyn Santee. He retired in 2009 as President and General Manager of K.C. Envelope Company. Sam was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish where he was active in the St. Catherine?s Spred, Knights of Columbus and the Envelope Manufacturers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Lisa Perkins. Survivors include a son, Samuel R. Santee, IV, and his wife, Julie; daughters, Sheryl Dutro and husband Shane and Tina Johnson; son-in-law, Tim Perkins; a brother, James Santee; sisters, Teresa Thummel and Pamela Hughes; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
