Scott 'Scotty' Robert Dougherty

Scott (Scotty) Robert Dougherty passed away peacefully at the Autumn Terrace Health and Rehabilitation center in Raytown, Missouri on January 16, 2022. Scotty was 58 years old and is survived by his father Jim Dougherty (Kim), and his sister Jill Van Horne (Jeff) and his nephews Parker, Logan and Hayden.
Scott was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on May 22, 1963 to James(Jim) Robert Dougherty and Paula Kaye (Waters) Dougherty. Scotty spent his early years in Lees Summit Missouri where he attended workshop classes. Scotty was fond of playing with his sister Jill and listening to music. His favorite was the Beatles. His favorite TV program in his early years was Mission Impossible and loved to dance to the theme song. Scotty idolized the super heroes, Superman, Batman and Spiderman. Scotty was very neat and tidy and always made sure his belongings were organized. He liked to proudly wear his superhero shirts wherever he went. Scotty was very loving and was always well mannered, friendly and liked to tease. Anyone who met him recognized and adored his feisty sense of humor and vivacious personality.
