SOPHIE "NANNIE" AUDSLEY

Sophie "Nannie" Audsley, 99, passed away October 18, 2014. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30am, Friday, October 24th at Holy Spirit Church, 11300 West 103rd St. Overland Park, KS where the rosary will be prayed at 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the rosary at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Sophie was born December 14, 1914 in Lexington, MO. She owned and operated Country Club Bowl with her late husband, Roy Audsley, from 1944-65 and also worked at Goppert Bank for 23 years. Sophie volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital, was an avid bowler, and die hard Royals fan. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Gary) Newman, Judy (Dave) Soutar, Robert Audsley and Janet South; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Little Sisters of the Poor for their wonderful care, and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to them at 8745 James A. Reed Rd, Raytown, MO 64138.
