Steve G. Lord

Steven G. Lord was born in Kansas City on July 15, 1964. Steve died unexpectedly in New York on February 12, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Leawood, KS and attended Rockhurst High School as a member of the great class of 1982. He went on to a successful career as an investment banker moving to New York with his wife Sabina in 2021. He is survived by his wife and his two amazing children Gabrielle and Spencer and their mother Julie, his brother Bryan, his sister Dianna, and his niece Maisie.

Steve grew with his family in Kansas City playing sports and enjoying the many close friends he made at school. His parents Clinton and Barbara Lord passed away in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Gabrielle graduated from the University of Miami and Spencer will enter his senior year at Colorado State University next year. His wife and kids were the love of his life and his memory will carry on not only in their hearts, but the hearts of the many people who came to know him.
