Thomas "Tom" O'Connor

Thomas J. O’Connor. April 22, 1960 – November 26, 2024. Age 64. Tom was preceded in death by parents William E. and Jean M. O’Connor and brother-in-law John A. Chisholm. Survived by wife Jennifer Panke O’Connor and son Cade O’Connor. Siblings Bill O’Connor, Maureen (John) Raynor, Kerry (Joe) Bast, Mike (Marti) O’Connor, Kim O’Connor, Amy Chisholm, Kyle (Mike) Nelson, Jennie (Matt) Warren, Katie O’Connor. Parent-in-laws John H. and Rita L. Panke and Sister and brother-in-law Jill and Jeremy Sausto. Twenty five nieces and nephews, twenty seven great nieces and nephews.

Tom grew up in Omaha and attended Creighton Prep then UNL. He found his home in Kansas City in 1995. Tom was a restaurateur, wine enthusiast and the ultimate host. He was an absolute sports fanatic. Tom loved his family, friends and pets fiercely.

A Visitation/Rosary will begin at 11:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 815 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO, 64131. Celebration of Life, immediately following at Oakwood Country Club, 9800 Grandview Road, Kansas City, MO, 64137.
