Veronica Rose Morgan (Kneib), 89, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2021. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Muehlebach Funeral Care from 5:00 pm 6:00 pm with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
Bonnie was born on August 10, 1931 in Easton, MO to James and Mary (Karl) Kneib. Her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri when she was a teenager and she graduated from Lillis High School in 1950. She married Edward "Ed" Morgan in 1954 and they were married for almost 66 years. She and Ed raised four children together. Bonnie enjoyed cooking and was always providing meals for family and neighbors in need. Everyone was welcomed in her home with a meal. She was an avid bowler and card player. Bonnie and her husband Ed never missed attending their grandchildrens sporting events. She was employed at Ferrels Hallmark for many years and also volunteered at Saint Josephs Medical Center for almost thirty years. Deeply devoted to her family and faith, she was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, son Michael, sisters Patricia ONeill, Mary Louise Potter, Elizabeth Waggoner, Ellen Kneib, Marita Barrack, and brothers Bernard and Vincent Kneib. She is survived by siblings, Delores Spellman and Dennis Kneib, children Eddie Jr (Sheila) of Kansas City, MO, Trish (Kendal) Peterson of Linwood, KS, Dan (Jennifer) of Lees Summit, MO, grandchildren Kevin (Sarah) Morgan of Lees Summit, MO, Kelly (Cole) Doutt of Belton, MO, Trent Peterson of Overland Park, KS, Dean Peterson & Mary Peterson of Linwood, KS, Sam and Drew Morgan of Lees Summit, MO and great grandson Kaden Morgan. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.
