Victor Eckart, 79, of Belton, MO, passed away February 5, 2016. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9 from 5 - 7pm at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO. Graveside services will be 10am Wednesday, February 10 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Shawnee, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City Union Mission, 1100 E 11th St., KCMO, 64106.Victor was born November 21, 1936 to Edward and Sophie Eckart. He served his country in the National Guard. He worked as an electrician and was a member of electricians union IBEW 124 for 59 years. He was passionate about his car, a 1961 Corvette, which he purchased new and was a member of the Corvette Club of Kansas City for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marie, and his two brothers, Vince and Bill. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Hill (David) and Lori Eckart, his two brothers, Bob and Richard and his lifelong friend Donna, and her two sons, Joe and Jeff.
