William C. Partin

William C. Partin of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away November 11, 2015. Visitation will be at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost, from 1 to 2:30 pm Sunday, Nov 12th followed by a service at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., at 10 am Monday. Memorial contributions may be given to Central Alumni Educational Foundation (CAEF). Bill was born in Kansas City November 7, 1926, to May and Marvin Luther Partin. After graduating from Central High School in 1943, he and a friend hitchhiked to Yosemite National Park. He attended law school at the University of Kansas City (now UMKC), where he met his wife, Beverly Jean Lash. They married in 1950 and had six children. Bill practiced law with Leon Kusnetzky and then opened his own law firm in the 1970s. He stayed fit by riding his bike, including one century (100 miles), and enjoyed opera and the symphony. He was a member of the Lions Club and founding member of CAEF. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Marvin Jr., Christine Nenno, Patricia Krueger, and David; his wife Beverly; and his eldest son Matthew. He is survived by sons Russ and Don and daughters Dorothy and Beth (Todd Bradley) and Janet (Tim) ONeill; six grandchildren: Rosie, Patrick, Jeff, Catherine, Kieran, and Rachel ONeill; many nieces and nephews; and longtime love and devoted friend Bev Lichterman. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Brookdale Leawood State Line and Vitas Hospice for providing care in his final days
